ACTIVE SHOOTER AND VIOLENCE SCENARIO TRAINING

It’s an uncommon but unfortunate reality that your staff may be in a scenario where violence is something they need to navigate. From active shooters to knife threats, we lead training sessions that provide tools to improve decision making under distressed situations.

Because of the distinct needs and responsibilities, our Violence Scenario training is commonly split into two different groups: general office staff, and security officers.

Violence Scenario Training for General Office

In our general office staff training program, employees receive an interactive live presentation. Course material generally focuses on the following scenarios:

  • blunt object

In relation to those scenarios the following key topics are covered:

  • Violent events in the media (television / movies) versus real life
  • Respecting violence scenario danger
  • Understanding the psychology of emergency situations
  • How to prepare and respond to violence or the threat thereof
  • The principles of “Run, Hide, and Fight” or “RHF”
  • Hands-on RHF office or facility specific practice

Violence Scenario for Security Officers

Our security officer training has more breadth and depth as compared to the basic office staff training. Security officers receive an expanded interactive live presentation focusing on:
